Best of the 00s

Here it is, my favorite music of the oughts. lf there is one thing I learned by looking back at my favorite music of the last decade its that I may have mellowed out, but I am no less meloncholy than in the past. This list was much easier to compile than I thought it would be, although I didn’t really analyze it too much. If the album is still in heavy rotation at the end of the decade, I guess its one of my favorites. Now I will say that there are a few occasions where I could easily say an artist is in my top 20 of the decade but that its tough to pick a favorite album. In those cases I went with the album that had a particular song that was way up on the list, or the album that defined a moment in time more than the others. Read on…
